I will interrupt my other rambles I had to talk about our Halloween. It was pretty busy. We went to some Haunted Houses and saw a good horror movie called Case 59 and also went to a Halloween party and took our son trick or treating. I was a vampire and she was a burglar lol. She said she decided to be that cause I tell her all the time she stole my heart. She even put on a blonde wig. She sad so our hair matched. I tried to put up pics but for some reason my blog won't let me. If anyone knows how, I'll post pics on the post.
The haunted houses were ok. One I almost punched a Stupid Jason with a chain saw that kept getting too close to my wife. He was almost touching her, I thought they had a no touching policy. The best part of our Halloween besides taking Caleb (our son) trick or treating was when we cuddled on the couch watching horror movies. Caleb was a baby lion. He was sooo adorable! If I can't get pics posted here and anyone wants to see them, you can just add me on facebook at: J_man81@live.com
Halloween is actually one of my favorite holidays. I love watching scary movies with my baby girl. But sometimes certain things in movies trigger her and she tries to hide it but I know her well enough to know when that happens. I think she will go through that for the rest of her life but I will always be there to take away her fear. I have gotten pissed lately with her "so-called" friends have stopped being her friend cause she still deals with her abuse and what happened to her still affects her. They expected her to be over by now since it's been almost 4 yrs. There isn't a time limit on recovery! She makes me feel good when she tells me I am the one who saved her and pulled her from the hole. What hapened to her doesn't affect my love for her. I love her even more for how strong she is even if she doesn't see it.
The week of Halloween, we had a bad storm and a lot of tornado watches. We had to go down to Nic's brother-in-law's mother's house and when Nic got out the car, she stepped in a mud puddle and her knee popped and she fell and sprained her ankle. She cried for me and I was already with her. It always breaks my heart when I see her in pain. I picked her up and it was raining soo hard and the wind was blowing bad. I didn't stop telling corny jokes til I got her to laugh. When we got home, I iced her ankle and massaged it. She says every time she's in pain and if we make love, her pain seems to vanish, so I made love to her. Afterward, she sighed contently and curled up tightly in my arms cuddling my right hand under her chin. She didn't seem to be in pain for the time being. She didn't want to go to the doc the next day and I didn't force her. Her ankle was sore and swelled some and bruised but she could move her toes. Her older sister works at a doc's office and told her it sounded like a sprain and the docs couldn't do anything but prescribe pain meds and wrap it in an ace bandage. She still had some pain meds left from where she had a knee injury a few months ago so we kept it elevated and iced and I waited on her even more. She said I was her doctor Josh and I was happy I made her feel better and I love taking care of her. She does have her days where she goes into herself and is quiet and tries not to cry and is just so depressed. But unlike certain cruel husbands who don't care about hurting their wives more and spank them to "pull them out", I pull my wife out by loving her. I would never, No Matter what. hurt her to try to get her out of a depression. Even if what I do now didn't work. That's NOT love. You NEVER physically hurt the woman you love. And it's even worse when the man can do it and not care that it hurts their wife! I took off work for four days to care for my wife's sprained ankle and if she had needed me more than it would've been longer. Four days later, it was a lot easier for her to walk.
So that's why it's taken me so long to get back to my blog. But I realize blogging helps me. I have always expressed my feelings to my wife easy but to others it's sometimes hard. But I like speaking my mind and blogging does help to clear my head. And I have a lot in my head right now, it's just getting time to get it out.
I found a blog where a man scared his wife out of smoking by whipping her with his belt and leaving bruises and welts on her and threatening to do it again if she picked up another cigarette. I wanted to beat the shit of that ass! And my wife said she was horrified the wife allowed it and didn't leave him. I'd be lucky if when I was sleeping my wife didn't srangle me with the belt if I was him. But our marriage would have definately been over had I done that. LoL if he had my wife for a day, he would be in jail for abuse cause she would really rebell against everything he "ordered". I love my wife!! She IS my life. And I have a lot more opinions on that issue but she's done reading some of the book she's been reading and poked her lower lip out and asked didn't I wanna cuddle and winked. Oh I always wanna cuddle with her but we rarely JUST cuddle... Night!!
